The Korean Central Presbyterian Church is a prominent religious institution located in an ideal setting, as indicated by the variety of reviews. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the church strives to create a community where individuals can freely worship and connect with others. The church offers separate worship services for the handicapped, which has raised questions from some members of the community, but it continues to be a place where people gather and participate in various activities. The church's emphasis on faith-based sermons and the availability of both English and Korean services demonstrate its commitment to serving a diverse congregation. Overall, the Korean Central Presbyterian Church is a place of worship and community for many individuals seeking spiritual fulfillment.

I was told by a couple members of this church that the handicapped are encouraged to attend a separate worship service only for the handicapped. Why can’t they worship with everyone else? Why are they segregated? Koreans have always been very prejudiced to the disabled. They claim things have improved, but sadly it has not--not even for the so-called Christians. If the pastor, the elders, and members of this church don't see this as wrong then there's no love here. Everyone outside this church thinks it's wrong and strange! Go look at yourself in the mirror. You're fortunate you're not judged by your appearance.
People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). This is a subject that should be preached at this congregation.
Beautiful venue for the conference I recently attended there. Very large gathering spaces and adequate accommodations.
KCPC EC embodies a warm culture where people can freely worship and join community groups.
Great church!
So many serving hands.
New comers get parking right in front of the sanctuary. Slowly go straight with emergency blinkers on.
For someone that's been going here since 2009 I can confirm this church is heavily driven by popularity rather than faith. I got abused by two pastors in which one of them literally segregated me from others and even attempted to get rid of me simply because I'm was an introvert and did not want my awkwardness to "affect others". Where's the sense in that? I've attended several community groups and I was left out for years. It is clear that these people only care about those they like. I cannot worship freely because of the amount of injustice and passive aggressiveness. For the last 10 years everyone has been hypocritical. How can you be a church if you can't do what you preach? Hallelujah!!
PS. If you ever seek personal counseling from any of these pastors, 9 times out of 10, they will never listen to you. They will always dismiss your case and invalidate your arguments and instead verbally cut you down with things THEY assume about you.
Great church. Lots of greeters to get you connected with the right groups. Has English as well as Korean services. Sermons are Christ/Gospel based. Lots of 1st and 2nd generations. Can be intimidating because of large church, so go see a greeter. God bless and good luck.
This is a fine church guys. I would like to especially thank Pastor Daniel Kwon and John Hwang for their tireless effort to transform our souls. I've been going to this church for the past 15 years. Since then, I've been baptized in the name of Jesus, took 2-7 series training, discipleship training, and 1 to 1 bible study. Through supplication, I pray for the holy spirit to continue to transform me and guide me always.
Very generous church. The money from offering is put to good use, such as free lunch for every church goer (literally for every single church member!), shuttle buses that go back and forth from the metro, buses for seniors, and programs for children and seniors! The head pastor also opens his doors for anyone and everyone. The pastors are very kind, and KCPC has a very fresh feel to it.
I absolutely love the adult services. Like any other venue with many people, its possible to meet some you won't like. It may seem like some people are not christians, and you may be furious by the actions of others. But no one is perfect. I simply go to listen to the sermons, and along the way I was able to make friends with the most amazing pastors and fellow churchgoers. Simply stated, my main purpose to attend this church is to establish a strong relationship with God. Would definitely recommend this well developed church for people who want to listen to sermons that are concise and meaningful.
